Founded in 2012, Cloudbeds provides a comprehensive platform that powers the hospitality industry by streamlining operations, increasing reservations and revenue, and enabling memorable guest experiences for lodging businesses of all sizes worldwide.

To better support their clients and understand their needs, Cloudbeds values working with local partners such as consultants, advisors, and revenue managers. These local partners offer valuable insights and provide additional services that enhance product adoption and improve the overall experience for hoteliers transitioning to Cloudbeds.

To support its ambitious growth plan, Cloudbeds enlisted Bond to identify suitable partners in various markets to join its Ambassador program.

Each new ambassador can submit referrals through their dashboard. An incentive is awarded for each referral that makes their first payment for a Cloudbeds Pro or Cloudbeds 360 package.

Approach

Defining a Clear Partner Profile: Bond began by defining a clear profile of the type of partners Cloudbeds was seeking. This involved understanding the specific characteristics and qualifications that would make a partner successful in the Ambassador program.

Outreach: Once the partner profile was established, Bond initiated outreach efforts via LinkedIn, hospitality communities, and other online platforms to find potential partners.

Qualification: After making initial contact and gauging interest, Bond conducted interviews with each potential partner. During these interviews, Bond ensured that the partners met the defined profile criteria and aligned their expectations with the goals of the Ambassador program.

Introduction: When a potential partner was a good match, Bond introduced them via email to the Cloudbeds Partner Manager responsible for that specific market. This step ensured a seamless transition and integration of the new partner into the Ambassador program.

Results

Over 3 months, Bond introduced 96 qualified consultants to Cloudbeds in multiple geographies.

37 of them were onboarded successfully to the Ambassador Partnership program.

By following this structured approach, Bond successfully identified, qualified, and recruited suitable partners for Cloudbeds' Ambassador program, supporting Cloudbeds' growth and enhancing their ability to provide exceptional services to the hospitality industry. This collaboration highlights the importance of a clear methodology in partnership development and the value of local insights in driving global success.
